PFO Announces New Supply System

August 26, 2010 (Grapevine, Texas)

PFO Global announces the launch of a new material supply system designed to support national and state funded vision plans. Acuity Vision Systems (AVS) ® is a proprietary system that will initially target state Medicaid programs, providing complete eyewear through Medicare and Medicaid health plan groups. Built on electronic systems that link specialized production centers throughout the world, AVS® provides the highest quality at the lowest cost point available.

Richard Sanchez, President and CEO of Advantica, whose company worked with Pro Fit in designing AVS® feels that this new system provides answers to the evolving needs for the vision and health plan industry. “PFO Global has incorporated technology and global automation to provide products that work with the vision plan industry to help raise the expectations of vision plan consumers. The economy continues to place pressure on state and federal budgets, yet the demands to cover more lives and provide greater benefits with less funding grows. The programs developed at PFO offer options to meet these challenges.”

Initially covering over 1 million Medicaid vision plan lives, the program is expected to grow rapidly and will soon expand into Medicare vision plans.

PFO Global, under the direction of Rudolf Suter, President, has assembled an industry development team that is building proprietary manufacturing, Q&A systems and proprietary technology that provides greater value in the delivery of eyewear. From Free-Form technology to advanced logistics, PFO Global is focused on meeting today’s economic needs with tomorrow’s technology!
